This past year has been very challenging to see several mom and pop businesses closed during this 2020/2021 pandemic. Very few made ends meet just to cover their commercial leases, some skipped out completely, and a few survived. 

I have seen several commercial property for lease signs in the city of Whittier which makes me alarmed, but also gives me hope. The hope to potentially help clients open their business in a retail space for rent or in an office space for rent to help them thrive in this new economy. 

The Greenleaf Promenade at Uptown Whittier is a new concept where the city blocked off 3 blocks for pedestrians to walk without any vehicles passing. I was there last week and it looked great. Businesses were open following the new restrictions, people were outdoors: walking, dining, drinking their favorite beverage, and having a good time. 

During my stroll I visited a few dining locations, my guest from Bakersfield and I had a great time even though there were new guidelines to follow. I did see several commercial real estate for lease made up of restaurant space, retail space, office space and even a commercial building for rent.
